FORM ACADEMY / COURSE 02

How training works.
Seen from the inside.

Watch the muscles fire through a stride and a pedal stroke. Zoom into a fibre, follow the fuel, and build a training block. Five interactive lessons for runners, riders and triathletes.

THE COURSE

From muscle to training block.

Every lesson is interactive,
and every number is sourced.

RUNNING OR RIDING

Same body.
Different demands.

Switch any lesson between running and riding. The muscles, forces and examples change with it, which is the point: the same fitness costs your legs very differently in each sport.

Built for triathletes, useful to anyone who runs or rides.

WHERE THE NUMBERS COME FROM

Models, not guesses.

The figure moves with joint angles and muscle timing from published biomechanics research. The fibre, fuel and load lessons use simplified models of well-established physiology, and each lesson lists its sources.

About the models

These are teaching models. They show typical patterns for a healthy, trained adult; your own timing, thresholds and responses will differ. Nothing here is medical advice. If something hurts, get it assessed.
