Privacy policy

1. About this policy

This policy applies to Form Endurance (“Form”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), including the Form website, web application, mobile application, and related services. Form is a training intelligence and coaching companion for endurance athletes.

By using Form, you acknowledge that your training information may include sensitive health and wellness information. We handle it only to provide and improve the service described here.

2. Information we collect

We may collect:

• Account information: name, email address, password credentials, and account preferences.
• Profile details you choose to add: your sports, training thresholds and, if you add them, your sex and birth year. Sex and birth year are optional. Form’s coach uses them as context to make its advice more specific to you, and you can change or remove them at any time in Profile.
• Connected training data: activities, dates, duration, distance, pace, power, heart rate, training load, workout details, and related device data that you authorise us to access.
• Wellness information: sleep, resting heart rate, HRV, fatigue, weight, stress, and similar recovery signals where provided by a connected service.
• Coaching content: questions, conversations, race goals, saved races, plan drafts, and edits you make in Form.
• Technical information: device, browser, log, security, and service-performance information needed to operate and protect the service.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide the Form experience, including to:

• sync and display your training and wellness history;
• answer questions about your training;
• draft, validate, and maintain structured workout plans;
• help you organise race goals;
• secure accounts, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability; and
• communicate with you about the service, support, and important changes.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Garmin data and service providers

If you choose to connect Garmin Connect, Garmin sends Form your activities, including the detail recorded during each one, and the health data you allow. That can include heart rate and heart rate variability, sleep and sleep stages, stress and Body Battery, steps and intensity minutes, pulse ox, breathing rate, skin temperature, hydration and nutrition you log, blood pressure, weight and body composition, VO2max and fitness age. Form stores this health data encrypted and associates it with your account to display and analyse your training and recovery, support your coaching, and, where you choose, send approved plans, workouts or courses to your Garmin calendar. The data received depends on the permissions you give in Garmin Connect.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides hosting and storage for Form. OpenAI is Form’s AI provider. Garmin data and information derived from it are sent to OpenAI and used by Form’s AI coach only with your explicit consent, as described in section 5. Garmin provides the connection and receives the plans, workouts or courses you choose to send. Garmin data will not be shared with another integration, such as Intervals.icu or Strava, unless Garmin permits the sharing and you authorise it. These providers use the data to provide their respective services. We will update this policy before adding another third party that receives or processes Garmin data.

We do not sell Garmin data. We do not share Garmin data with advertisers. Form does not permit Garmin data or anything derived from it to be used to train, test, evaluate, or improve AI models.

5. AI transparency and consent

Form uses OpenAI to generate coaching responses and structured plans. Form’s coach is an AI system. If you connect Garmin Connect, Form first asks for your explicit consent: the box you tick when connecting says what the coach will use and that it runs on OpenAI. With that consent, the coach reads your Garmin data, sending what it needs to OpenAI, to answer your questions and write your training. Form does not use your Garmin data to train, test, or evaluate AI models.

You can withdraw consent at any time by disconnecting Garmin in Profile → Connected data. Form then stops using your Garmin data and deletes what Garmin sent. Withdrawing consent stops future AI processing of your Garmin data; it does not undo processing that has already occurred. You may also contact privacy@formendurance.com to withdraw consent or request help.

6. Sharing

We may share information with service providers who process it on our behalf, when required by law, to protect the security of the service, or as part of a business transfer. We do not share your training history with advertisers or make it publicly visible by default.

7. Storage, security, and retention

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect your information, including access controls and encryption where appropriate. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

We keep information while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may ask us to delete your account and associated personal information. Some limited records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or legitimate business records.

8. Your choices

You can request access to, correction, export, or deletion of your information, including Garmin data, and withdraw consent for a connected service or AI processing. Contact privacy@formendurance.com to make a request or get help. You can also disconnect Garmin in Profile → Connected data; disconnecting stops future syncing and deletes the data Garmin sent to Form.

9. Children

Form is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.

10. Changes and contact
